LIFE ON INTERNATIONAL LABOUR DAY
Warm greetings to everyone who carries out the noble role of work. Every job has its rewards and remuneration. Sometimes we receive it with joy, and at other times without it. But do we ever think about those who, even after toiling to the bone, do not receive even a single coin in return?
If we just take a moment to look around, we can see them near us. While we sit in air-conditioned rooms, doing our jobs and counting our earnings, let us not overlook those who have become sacrifices for it.
Aren’t there people in our own homes whom we fail to notice… whom we unknowingly ignore? When we see certain lives along the roadside, don’t we often turn our faces away and walk past? Their contributions, though small, are truly great in our lives.
On this Labour Day, let us embrace them as well. Let us be grateful to everyone. And above all, to the Creator of the universe.
