William Couper, the famous English poet, had said; "Variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all it's flavours". We all want our life to be exciting and vibrant. Getting out of everyday mundane chores in  is really a 'task'. As long as we are gifted with a wonderful life on earth we ought to make it lively.

The Passion for Variety

Even a small child desire for something new. Those who have toddlers  better know this. They are not satisfied with their 'present stock of toys'. 'Desire for more' is an underlying behaviour in every human being. Sometimes this 'desire' make us its captives. We may not get out of its bondage unless we make a conscious effort to resist our desires.

Why do we need variety?

We all are living in a changing world. Every day new changes and occurrences are being made at the nook and corner of our world. People  update their information every now and then. Those who want a 'variety' in their life will always do something or other to make their life a go.

If we are living in a 'routine bound' world we may not be serious about  bringing changes in our lifestyle. We go with the flow of our daily life.We work as if we are robots. We work for a living and live for the work.  All the tender values and emotions may get eroded in this flow of life. Being a  'workaholic' we disregard the emotions of those who live around us. Do we like to choose this type of living? Certainly NOT.

When Variety Dominates.

People who think out of the routine chores may go for more options of 'variety'. They will start thinking of making their everyday 'a new day'. People are not alone in this 'variety hunting' Social media also come for their help whenever they want.

When the craving for variety heightens the people seek more and more gadgets for it. As the market is flooded with consumer goods and gadgets the people have more access to it from- 

everywhere of the world. Advertising agencies force us to live in a world of 'make-believe'. They always keep us on a  stand of 'wanting more'. In this era of 'artificial intelligence'  when both the the human and the machine unites the things may go out of control.

We all are lucky that we have got a life full of varieties and excitements. We have to strike a balance between the variety and our every day life.A balanced  state should be maintained for the smooth journey of our life. We should not be 'egocentric' and we have to consider the emotions of our co- travellers too. Then the magnificent colours of life we see on our way will fill our minds and hearts. We will be happy and contented.
