 LIFE IS A RACE TO BE WON



Sports Day in schools is a special day for teachers  as well as for students.Most of the children like it because of its enthusiastic nature. They can have an escape from the monotonous long hours of studies. If we closely observe the reaction of the pupils who are going to participate in a 200 meter race we can learn a lot of lessons from them. Our life is also like a preparation and performance of a great mission.

Getting Prepared for the Race of Life



For all those who want to participate should know their area of choice.They have to select one from among the others.The selection is vital here. We know our capabilities and potential.So we are the one to make a choice .If we select a wrong one which may not suit our qualities and talents the result will be bad. We have to consult our 'team of experts' that means our elders who have a good track record in their lives.

Performing the Race

After getting a thorough knowledge of the situation we are all packed for the race. Each one of us has given the concerned 'tracks' of life with the hurdles. We have to start our race through these tracks. Unlike the original sport event we get here ample opportunities for observation and learning. One thing we have to keep in mind that we cannot imitate others here. We are the 'boss of ourselves'. The proverb well goes here: "slow and steady wins the race"!

                              As the race  progress  more and more hurdles may come on the track. Some of us may  get irritated of the hurdles and may comment on the other people who continue with their race.As it is told earlier that imitating others is not possible we cannot copy other's strategies for the successful racing. Whether we have to stay in the race or not is our own decision. We cannot blame others for our 'loss of points'.

The Finishing Point

 The finishing point waits for the winners. The race of life is for those who undertake it well. By simply boasting of ourselves we cannot win the life race. Amazing rewards will be waiting for the winners. The participants who won are now included in the 'team of experts' who has proved their mettle in the hurdles of life.

                            Life's  amazing journey will really enthrall us in its each phase. If we love our life it will be very easy to win the 'race of life'. Remember that we get the chance only once. An important thing we have to keep in mind that we should not lose our heart in any of our attempts. We all are unique persons with great potentialities. So move on happily and contented on your life track!
