LIFE; LIVING IT WITH CONTENTMENT
LIFE; LIVING IT WITH CONTENTMENT
"True contentment is a real, even an active virtue- not only affirmative but creative. It is the power of getting out of any situation all there is in it", says G.K. Chesterton, an English writer and philosopher. Living a life with contentment is not an easy practice. It takes much time. Once when we got it we will be the happiest people on this earth. It is a 'slow- paced' and a 'gradual' process. It is one of the 'arts of living' that everyone should learn in their lifetime.
Childhood Settlement
Childhood is the 'grooming stage' of an individual. What he learns and experience in his childhood determine his personality. This is the suitable time to teach the children about the good qualities to be kept in their life. The saying, 'strike while the iron is hot' exactly fits here. The children are at a vulnerable age now and any character traits that is applied here go straight into their personality. The parents should take a serious role in moulding their kid's behaviour especially in their childhood age.
Getting Prepared for Life
Learning the 'Art of Contentment'
One of the typical characteristics of humans is their unending quench for acquisitions in life. It can be material as well as spiritual. The 'theory of material prosperity' has enchanted it's spell on human beings and still it continues. We usually think that physical amenities make our life smooth and secure. We will resort to all equipments that give us a 'happy living.'
Calling back a person from the 'flood of material prosperity' to teach him the 'art of contentment' is not practical. Unless the person gets the realisation of his 'status' , it is not possible for a second thought.Who Needs Contentment?
Reaching the 'blissful zone of contentment' is really a great task to be achieved. We all need contentment, Don't we? We can make a checklist of all our wants and desires. Then sort it out and find out which all things are needed for our life's journey. The contentment has a direct relationship with our spiritual well-being. If we are spiritually able to face all the problems of our life then contentment will come to us directly without any 'fret and fume'.
After realising our present status of the level of contentment we have to strive for a higher level. There we can find a 'saturation point' of all our satisfaction.
Now we are on the route to contentment and it will be a long-lasting one. I assure you.
"Move on! Your future is waiting for you. Be bold to face it. Success is for those who work hard for it. Try to leave all your unwanted worries and pains and with a 'delightful heart' cover your journey well."
