 LIFE; IS IT AN ENJOYMENT OR A RESPONSIBILITY?

         We all are living in a world of celebration. Every where life is being celebrated and everyone believes that life is a stuff to celebrate. Celebration may go for an overnight, but what about the post celebration activities? and what it brings at the end? Being a part of the consumerist society we are infatuated with the glitters of the material world. The corporate giants and ads agencies mesmerize the people with their golden offers. We are made to believe that life is an enjoyment and celebration and it should go on as long as we live in this world.

Understanding the Life's Direction

  If  we observe carefully we can understand the direction of our life. It means that we can find out the things to which we give importance in our lives. With a sincere attempt we can sort out the stuff in detail.

An individual lives according to his own set of rules and principles. The direction of his life is determined by the ideologies that have set up in his brain. His total personality is the sum total of what he had acquired from his childhood and later stages of life. He will behave exactly according to what he has got when he was a small child in his family. Behaviour traits do not emerge at an overnight.  It is the result of a 'series of experiences' that have acquired through a number of years.

Life as an Enjoyment

College days itself students start to form their own ideology. Several factors affect their behaviour. Most often they do not know how to behave or react in a particular situation. Sometimes, they do it as their own or they copy it from others. In both the cases the results can go wrong. Unfortunately,  most of the adults believe in the life's theory of celebration. They may have got this idea from their society. As a climber plant spreads on the walls the idea has spread over all the spheres of life.

All over the world, the young generation are in a 'dilemma' of choosing the best for them. Role models are like a blue moon around us. Obviously, the adults will turn to screen and they start their life according to the life which is exhibited on the screen. Gradually, their life and activities will be controlled by the 'showbiz'.  Is this a productive life?

Life as a Responsibility

When we realise that our life is the greatest responsibility given to us our life will be directed to a new path. Then we will not go for mere gimmicks everywhere. We will be more conscious to make every step a good one. The life of younger generation is very promising because in them underlies the scope for changing the world. By simply wasting their precious time and energy on menial things they cannot achieve this great mission. They have to wake up from the mesmerism done by the material world.

Being responsible citizens the youngsters can perform many social welfare activities. One who believes in 'universal brotherhood' can spread more goodness everywhere.

It is up to the choice of each person to decide what direction of life he is going to choose. Whatever he chooses it has an impact on himself and on the others who are related to him. In my opinion, we have to choose a life of responsibility rather than of enjoyment. Because, it is the one which gives results than the second one.

Dear youngsters, rise up and shine. An adventurous life is ahead of you. Take wise decisions of your life now itself without any delay. Move on to the new 'world of promises and cheerfulness'. Be the first one to make a change around.
